The 7-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher drove for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team in his last season in the premier class of racing in 2012. During this time, Schumacher wore his personal red-painted driver's helmet, which has become one of his trademarks to this day. This helmet became an integral part of one of the greatest legends in motorsport. As part of the JMD collection, the design of this piece of motorsport history is now being revived in this replica.
Since 1995, the JMD team has specialized in individual helmet designs for racing. With his team, owner Jens Munser, a long-time helmet designer for Michael and Mick Schumacher, produces hand-painted collector's items.
This replica of the Schuberth model used by Schumis is limited to 308 pieces. The air scoop and the visor panel are painted in the design of the helmet, just like in racing use. The helmet is made of carbon and the visor corresponds to the racing visors. The paints used are the same as for the racing helmets and are applied by the experienced JMD team, which means we guarantee the highest quality for this special product.
