Seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher drove for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team at his 300th Formula 1 GP in Spa in 2012, during his final season in the pinnacle of motorsport. During this race, Schumacher wore his personal driver's helmet, which was specially painted in platinum for this GP.
This made the helmet an integral part of one of the greatest legends in motorsport. As part of the JMD Collection, the design of this piece of motorsport history now comes to life again in this replica.
Since 1995, the JMD team has specialized in individual helmet designs for racing. Along with his team, owner Jens Munser, the long-time helmet designer for Michael and Mick Schumacher, produces hand-painted collector's items.
This replica of the Schuberth model used by Schumi is limited to 308 pieces. The air intake and visor panel are painted in the helmet's design, just as they were in the race. The helmet is made of carbon and the visor corresponds to racing visors. The paints used are the same as those on racing helmets and are applied by the experienced JMD team, ensuring the highest quality for this special product.
Delivery time is 4-6 weeks.
